Stará Jedáleň is a community space in Bratislava's Rača district, created from a former school cafeteria that had fallen into disrepair. The building had been deteriorating for years until local residents, parents, and non-profit organizations acquired it and began transforming it into an open, lively, and welcoming place for the public.
Today, it serves as a community center where people of different age groups meet. The space provides facilities for creative workshops, discussions, neighborhood events, cultural events, and support for families and youth. Stará Jedáleň functions as a place that connects and develops community life.
Mládež ulice were among the initiators who contributed to transforming the abandoned dining hall into a functional space for the community.
